MY STORY
I live in Joliet, IL, and at age 16, I built this site. Why? Because as a computer enthusiast, aspiring youtube entertainer, and teenager, I needed money. Besides hanging with friends, I wanted to upgrade my gear and eventually build my own pc. And while I wasn't exactly educated extensively beyong watching LinusTechTips on youtube, I felt my experience with computers was worth more, as I had taken A+ Certification in High School and had plenty of practice with my own pc. So, for that reason, I felt I could help people with their tech needs while saving up for myself as well.
MY VISION
Living in Joliet, IL, with very limited resources and transportation, I started to work locally. My vision, is to gain enough traction be able to ship my builds nationwide. However, as things are right now, I'd like to maintain my down to earth and one on one customer service alive more than high output. I'd rather not drift away from quality for a little extra money, and that' what's important right now.
MY PROCESS
I work out of my bedroom at my house on a card table, where all my hand builds are completed. First, I work directly with the customer to discuss their budget and uses for the computer they're buying. I walk them through components and help discern what better fits their needs and requirements. Then, once I have my list, I buy or order all of the components from various reputable companies making sure I get the best balance of price and quality. Finally, I make sure I personally hand the customer their build where they can physically test and inspect their pc, and if they find anything wrong whatsoever, I'll take care of it free of additional cost. Alternatively, If it must be shipped, I'll physically take your package to the post office ready for shipment.
